Case Study: Newsletter Contest
The Issue: Our client was concerned that its customers were not reading its seasonal newsletter. The Solution: To track readership and response, PriMedia created a contest that was announced only in the newsletter. In order to be put into a drawing to win a dinner for two, customers had to call the company and answer a question posted in the newsletter. The Result: Customers flooded the company with calls - more than 100 contest entries were logged. This confirms PriMedia's assertion that the customers enjoyed reading the newsletter. Also the communication between the customers and the client enabled the company’s service representatives to foster community goodwill, discuss the client’s account, promote budget and payment plans, and remind the customer if a tune-up was due. | |||
