Case Study: Web Site Convenience


The Issue: Our client wanted to increase its Web site services to make the experience more convenient for the customer while reducing accounts receivable and past due payments.

The Solution: PriMedia added a Pay Online service to the Web site, integrating the system with the client’s existing credit card and EFT accounts. By adding this service, the client offered the customer reason to return to the Web site regularly, and while there learn more about upgrades, bundled programs, conservation advice and high-efficiency equipment. PriMedia would announce the new feature to the customers on the home page of the Web site, in the Message-On-Hold, and in its newsletters.

The Result: The new service was an immediate success. The feature was integrated into the site on a Friday afternoon. Over that weekend – before the planned announcements on the telephone system or newsletters were even implemented – more than 75 customers had paid their accounts through this application.
